The table

The Table reaches our neighborhood through Saturday breakfasts.

We love to enable local churches and other groups to build relationships with those they might not come in contact with otherwise. The Table seeks to break down some of those human-made barriers of socio-economic status, race, age, life situation, etc. Sharing a meal is a great way to hear people’s stories and join with them in their journey.

In light of COVID-19, we are serving meals in our Family Room space for people to eat outside. We are asking groups to bring 40 to-go bags or styrofoam containers, something portable to hand out to our friends experiencing homelessness. Some groups do hot meals, like pulled pork sandwiches or breakfast burritos, and others bring snack bags, with pre-packaged food and fruit and a water bottle.

Groups can either pass the meals out themselves, or just drop them off and staff will pass them out. We start serving at 8am on Saturdays.

Interested in volunteering? Sunday school classes, small groups, men’s groups, women’s groups, youth groups, and more can serve with The Table! Families with kids of all ages are welcome.
